Understanding and completing the Ultrasound Accreditation process is remarkably similar to completing your own tax return. It requires a considerable amount of time, attention to detail, and a significant amount of supporting documentation. As the attention to standards in diagnostic ultrasound increases, more and more physicians feel compelled to become accredited. Regrettably, many practices do not have a clear understanding of the financial and general practice benefits of becoming Accredited, or even how to begin. Consequently, even practices that have become Accredited question whether or not they should Re-Accredit following the expiration of their initial 3-year Accreditation license.
Sonultra endorses the Accreditation effort, and is dedicated to identifying resources to assist practices in the Accreditation process, as well as clearly understanding the benefits of being Accredited. Should you require assistance in becoming Accredited, Sonultra's experienced Accreditation consultants will assist you and in your efforts to become Accredited. Services available include, but are not limited to, developing practice protocols, workflow processes and reviews of how accreditation financially affects your practice.
